Let’s go ahead & talk about how awesome Jaipur is when it comes to food. From fine dining to street food to some amazing food joints serving local delicacies..Jaipur has it all. We were in Jaipur for 3 days and one of our agenda was to EAT. Here are our top 5 places to eat at when in Jaipur

- Spice Court: Enjoy the fiery Laal Maas at Spice Court. This one’s a spicy meat curry. The lamb is cooked in various spices & bright red colour of the curry comes from chillies. We also loved the Keema Baati they serve here. Spice court is a feast for all non-veg lovers
- Tapri, The Tea House: TAPRI is this cute Tea House with some really basic yet superbly flavourful food. We tried Jaipur’s (& Rajasthan I guess) famous breakfast which is called Dal Pakwan – is basically chana dal (Bengal gram) served with pakwan (crisp fried Indian bread) and topped with some freshly chopped coriander, onion and tomatoes….It was YUMMMM. Other things we tried were Bun Maska, Kashmiri Kahwa, Cream rolls (finished it before we could take any pictures 😄) and lemon iced tea. Really good flavours and cutely done cafe. In case you are planning to visit Jaipur, do visit this cafe 👍
- Narayanji Gajak Wale: Gajak is a pretty serious business at this shop. Started in 1953 by Narayan Ji, the place is extremely famous for its gajak and rewris. We tried at least 10-15 varieties & will never ever forget the unique flavours of each one them. Our personal favorites were Gur (Jaggery) Gajak, Takatak Gajak and Mawa Gajak? A Hands down MUST visit if you are in Jaipur
- Thali & more: Relish the authentic Rajasthani thali on your visit to Rajasthan. The one we had at the restaurant? “Thali & more” had Aloo pyaaz curry, Gatta curry, Kadhi, Ker Sangri Sabzi, Rice, Stuffed Baati, Missi rotis, garlic chutney and comes with loads of ghee & few extra grams of calories? 👍
- Bar Palladio
- Laxmi Mishthan Bhandar (LMB): Have a sweet tooth & craving for some Indian desserts? Think no more & just head to the most famous
- Anokhi Cafe
- Once upon a time in Jaipur
- Street Food
- Hilton Chaandi & Breakfast
