Two years in Luxembourg, we realised that the best way to beat the winters is to take a trip to someplace sunny. And this year, we decided to find some sun in Morocco
Morocco was nothing short of magical. From the moment we landed in Marrakech to the time we bid adieu, the country’s vibrant culture, stunning landscapes, and warm hospitality captivated us. We spent 8 nights in Morocco, and here’s a brief break up of our itinerary
Two Days in Marrakech
Our journey began with an early morning Luxair flight from Luxembourg to Marrakech. Upon arrival, we checked into a charming riad, which perfectly blended traditional Moroccan architecture with modern comforts. With just two days to immerse ourselves in the heart of Marrakech, we set off immediately, eager to make the most of our time.
From exploring iconic sites like the Koutoubia Mosque and Bahia Palace to wandering through serene oases such as the Jardin Secret and the Ben Youssef Madrasa, and experiencing the vibrant Jemaa el-Fnaa square with its bustling street market, food stalls, and lively local chatter, we savored the best of Marrakech in just 48 hours
